What it does
smartReplace replaces selected assembly components in Autodesk Inventor with valid content from the clipboard. Clipboard content can come from Inventor, Windows Explorer, another file explorer, or a text editor containing a valid path. When one component is selected, the add-in asks whether to replace only that component or all matching components in the assembly. Multiple selected components are replaced together, and an open file can also be used as the source.
