No links on this site are affiliate links today. This disclosure explains how affiliate links would be marked if we ever add them, what they would and would not affect, and how the catalog is funded.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a URL that contains a tracking identifier. When you click it and complete a purchase on the vendor's site, the marketplace or affiliate network pays us a referral fee. The purchase price is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the vendor. If we add affiliate links, they will be marked with rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" in the page source, and this page will say so.
What it does not affect
Affiliate status has no influence on any editorial or organizational decision. Specifically:
- Plugin listing order — sorted alphabetically or by last-verified date, not by commission rate.
- Rankings — we do not rank plugins. The search and filter order is not influenced by affiliate agreements.
- Inclusion — whether a plugin appears in the catalog depends on our verification process, not on whether we have an affiliate agreement with its vendor.
- Fact content — pricing state, category, deployment details, and every other recorded field are sourced from the marketplace listing, with each field's coverage listed on the How We Verify page. See How We Verify for the full process.
How rankings are built
This catalog has no sponsored placements. Listings are ordered alphabetically by default and can be sorted by verification date; the /best collections are ordered only by explicit marketplace-data criteria (rating, feature count, or update date) named on each collection. There is no mechanism — and no payment — that can move a plugin higher in any view.
Every fact is linked to its source. We do not take payment to alter deployment details, pricing type, or any other field.
Which links are affiliate
No link on the catalog is an affiliate link today: every marketplace and vendor link points directly at the vendor's own page. If we ever join an affiliate program, the affected links will carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and this page will be updated before that happens.
Today, marketplace links that are not affiliate links carry rel="noopener noreferrer" and open in a new tab; vendor support pages carry rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer". Internal links carry no rel attribute.
How we are funded
The catalog is operated independently and is funded by its operator. We do not accept sponsorships, advertising, or paid placements. No vendor pays us for a listing or for featured placement.
If affiliate commissions are ever introduced, they will be disclosed here first. They would fund data refreshes, verification, and hosting. They do not — and would not — fund editorial decisions.
We have never sold a listing position, a ranking boost, or a featured placement. If you see that rumor elsewhere, it is not true of this catalog.
