What it does
Freeze Mode changes selected company-managed Jira projects to read-only by replacing their permission scheme with a restricted copy. Existing viewing rights remain, while write access is removed unless an exemption group is named. Global Jira admins can start or end freezes, and the prior permission scheme returns when a freeze ends. Each action is stored in the Freeze Log with its timing and administrator.
