What it does
IDS Inspector checks a live Autodesk Revit model against buildingSMART IDS 1.0 files without an IFC export. It maps Revit elements and parameters to IFC entities and properties, then evaluates IDS specifications and value restrictions. Results include pass/fail status for specifications, individual elements, and failed values. The add-in can export HTML, Excel or CSV, JSON, and BCF reports, and validation does not modify the model.
