What it does
bimCAT places a web-based carbon query database inside an Autodesk Revit project and connects with EC3. It sends material types and quantities to the web application, creates EPD-based takeoffs, and evaluates climate impact using data from over 100K verified EPDs. Graphs and heatmaps display impact and savings areas, while quantity-calculation formulas and GWP intensity can be stored in the Revit file. Revit families can be saved, shared, and compared in a bimCAT-annotated library, and custom reports can be created for Buy Clean policies, LEED, and ICMS.
