What it does
Synchronizes externally sourced data with Salesforce records when a record page loads, without a page refresh. It can also display related external data that is not stored in Salesforce and run scheduled or batch synchronization for new or existing records. Configuration uses Named Credentials, custom metadata for object and field mappings, and a Lightning component on the record page. API and DML failures are stored in an interaction log, and the application currently supports REST APIs with JSON, not SOAP or XML web services.
